Hailing from right here in the Bay Area; Kennan's fretless bass continues to grace many a local bandstand. Picking up the bass in the 70's under the wing of 'The Joy of Cooking' bassist Jeff Neighbor, he brings to Nightmare on Bourbon Street a talent that immediately calls to mind the legendary combination of jazz, funk, rhythm and blues that is truly his first love, New Orleans style R&B. Forgoing solos, with Kennan its all about 'the groove… the quest for simplicity…finding the one perfect note'
