After over 15 year in the Graphic Design business I still feel that the best design is that which conveys the message as directly as possible (form follows function) - keeping in mind who the target audience is and the nature of the message/product. Because I have enough hands-on experience with the whole process from visual concept to final product, I can often optimize the process to avoid needless expense and delays.
